On the Victor recording date Pete Clute played calliope on a few numbers. The volume of the calliope created all kinds of problems. Turk said: "We rented a calliope and brought it in the studio and recorded with that and proceeded to wreck RCA Studios and everything else. It was a day they would like forget."
